Very close to the tourist areas, and safe to walk around at night. Nice buffet breakfast. We read another review that complained about noise at room 102, but we got that room, and they already fixed that issue by putting an extra door that muffles the sound .
Small room, but that is common in Rome.
Staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, the continental breakfast was delicious. All the necessary amenities were available (incl safe, iron, mini-bar, etc). The hotel was well located within a fair walking distance from the nearest train (Termini station) and metro stations (Repubblica) and across the street from the Teatro del Opera. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel also offered a pick up service from the airport that was very convenient and the quoted fare was fair.
The staff were very friendly and the cleanliness of our room and the bathroom was superb.
The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. In a room the length of a double shower and the width of just under 3 showers side by side you had a shower, a sink, a bidet and a toilet. It was impossible to wipe in the bath room after a shower. The breakfast was the same every day with cold hard boiled eggs, bread, packet meats and weak orange squash. What a let down. The location was poor, just down from the railway station but in an area that you would not want to be out in after 11pm at night. If it had not been for the super staff I would have hated every night I stayed there. I will not return.
Loved the helpful staff, the clean and neat rooms, good air conditioning, and the central location. The breakfast was outstanding with many choices and delicious home baked goods.
It was a bit noisey from the street late at night.
Hotel location and facilities were excellent and reception staff provided great help and advice. The hotel WIFI system was the best we have used.
This is an ideal hotel for a short city break, in a great location. It's more like a series of small apartments with a reception in the lobby. It is modern and clean and provides a reasonable breakfast. I was very happy to stay here and would stay here again!
The Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. They even provide a laptop for free access to the internet. Location is very close to the Termini station & walkable to most of the must visit areas like Trevi Fountain, Coloseum & Spanish Steps.
The Stuff were really nice and helpful, The location is perfect a walking distance from the Train, Metro, and 10 - 20 Min. walking distance to all other sites we needed to see.
The room was tight and small, but was good, quite, and comfortable.
The hotel is close to termini station. Besides there are many other hotels, restaurants and souvenior shops on the way from the station to the hotel, which is convenient and makes us feel safe walking around at night. They serve very good quality breakfast.
The staff at the place for breakfast were not so kind.
Clean Friendly staff Location in central Rome, near Termini, but far enough from the noise around Termini. Breakfast was good enough unless one wants bacon, eggs, sausages, beans. Good value.
The hotel was under renovation. We were in Hotel Sonya facing Rome Opera House (2 minutes walking) from Hotel Opera. They both are under same ownership.
We had a great service very friendly and helpful, great location, and our room were newly renovated, our room was next to the kids room but no door connect between the 2, we were ok with that since our kids are older . 14 yrs, 11 yrs. and the hotel is small and feels save
Hotel Opera is conveniently located close to Termini Station. It is easy to find on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable but incredibly tiny. The dining room was lovely but a little too small for the number of people eating breakfast there. The reception area was tiny and it was not a good place for some quiet during the day. However, the staff were very friendly.
Rooms were very tiny.
Really liked the location, it is in the middle of the action but still quiet for sleeping. The room was a nice size, the breakfast room provided a nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful at providing restaurant suggestions, directions to the laundry etc.
The suite with jacuzi was excellent !
the friendly and welcoming staff and the location
